Firewall, Wi-Fi, and a backup line, set up and watched by us
Network security is where we started in 2019. Every office we look after gets a SonicWALL firewall, configured here before shipping, and we take care of everything behind the firewall: the switches, the staff and guest Wi-Fi, and the secure connection your people use from home. Add cellular backup, and when your main internet line drops, the firewall moves your office onto cellular within 30 seconds, with nobody touching a thing.
From $249 a month per location · Cellular backup $30 a month · Month to month
An example office network. The main internet line and a cellular backup both connect to the firewall, which connects to a switch and then to the office's computers, card terminal, desk phones, and Wi-Fi. The firewall checks the main line every 7 to 10 seconds. After three missed checks, the firewall marks the line down and moves the office onto cellular, within 30 seconds, with nobody touching anything.
Everything from the firewall in
You keep your internet provider. We look after the network that starts where their line comes in:
- The firewall. A SonicWALL at the front of your network, included in the monthly price. We configure the firewall before shipping, keep its firmware current, and manage its rules.
- Switches and wiring. The site survey maps what you have: circuits, switches, wiring, and what’s plugged into what. From then on we look after the switches your network runs through.
- Staff and guest Wi-Fi. An access point is included, with a business network for your staff and a separate guest network for everyone else.
- Working from home. A VPN with multi-factor sign-in, set up by us, and a step-by-step guide for connecting to an office computer.
- Monitoring. Our monitoring alerts us when your network goes down, so we may already be working on an outage before you call.
- Updates. Firmware on the firewall and the rest of your network equipment, kept current.
Setting up remote access? Our remote access guide walks you through each step.
One price per location
The firewall and the Wi-Fi access point are part of the monthly price. Each location has a one-time setup, and cellular backup is an add-on.

Standard or Enhanced?
Enhanced is the same service on a larger, more capable firewall, for a bigger office, more people connecting from home, or a very fast internet connection, up to 2.5 gigabit. Everything else is identical, and both prices are on the Network Management card.
Each managed plan includes 2 hours of remote support per month in total, not per device. WiFi is included in network plans.
How cellular backup takes over
A Peplink cellular router sits beside your firewall as a second way out. When the main line goes quiet, nobody has to call anyone or flip a switch.
-
Checks every 7 to 10 seconds
The firewall keeps asking whether your main line is still answering.
-
Three misses in a row
One missed check could be a blip. Three in a row means the line is down.
-
On to the next line
Your traffic moves to cellular, or to a second internet line if you have one, inside 30 seconds.
Up to 5GB of cellular data a month is included. Cellular only carries your traffic while the main line is down, so most months use little or none of the 5GB. Would you rather have a second internet provider as the backup? The firewall handles more than one line, and the changeover works the same way.

What’s in place from day one
- Configured before shipping. Your firewall is set up here and arrives ready to plug in.
- Multi-factor sign-in for remote access. Every VPN connection is encrypted and needs a second factor.
- Guests stay off your staff network. The guest Wi-Fi is a separate network, so a visitor’s phone never shares a network with your office computers.
- Changes go through us. Firmware upgrades, new Wi-Fi networks, and equipment swaps are planned with us, so the network stays the way the survey documented.
- A review after the first month. Thirty minutes, thirty days after go-live: what broke, what changed, and what’s next.
- No contract. Month to month, with no cancellation fee. Cancel, and service runs to the end of that billing period.
Questions we get about network management
What’s the difference between Standard and Enhanced?
Enhanced is the same service on a larger, more capable firewall. Choose Enhanced for a bigger office, more people connecting from home, or a very fast internet connection, up to 2.5 gigabit. Everything else is identical.
Is the firewall included?
Yes. The SonicWALL and a Wi-Fi access point are part of the monthly price. Each location has a one-time setup, shown on the price card.
How fast does cellular backup take over?
Within 30 seconds. The firewall checks your main line every 7 to 10 seconds, and after three missed checks in a row, your traffic moves to the next line. Nobody has to do anything.
How much cellular data is included?
Up to 5GB a month. Cellular only carries your traffic while the main line is down, so most months use little or none of the allowance.
Can a second internet provider be the backup?
Yes. The firewall can take more than one internet line and moves to the next one in order when a line stops answering. Cellular backup is one option, and a second provider is another.
Can our staff connect from home?
Yes. We set up a VPN with multi-factor sign-in, and the remote access guide on this site walks each person through connecting to their office computer.
Do you replace our internet provider?
No. You keep your internet service. We look after everything from the firewall in.
Is there a contract?
No. Network management is month to month, with no cancellation fee. If you cancel, service runs to the end of that billing period.
