Shared logins, without the sticky notes
Bitwarden keeps the passwords, verification codes, and passkeys your team uses in one encrypted vault, and fills them in when you sign in. We sell Bitwarden’s Enterprise plan at $4.99 a user per month and handle the setup. We create your users, install Bitwarden on your computers, and walk your owner or office manager through grouping and sharing passwords. From there, your team runs the vault themselves.

One vault for everything you sign in to
Bitwarden’s Enterprise plan, for every member of your team:
- Passwords, filled in for you. Browser extensions for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox fill usernames and passwords, and the desktop and phone apps keep the vault with you.
- Verification codes, too. Keep a site’s six-digit code beside its password, and Bitwarden fills the code in after the password.
- Passkeys. Save a site’s passkey in the vault and sign in from the browser extension or the phone app, with no password to type.
- Shared by team. Put the logins each group needs in a shared collection, the front desk in one and the back office in another. Change a password once, and everyone with access has the new one.
- A record of who used what. The event log shows when someone viewed, copied, or filled a shared login.
- Strong passwords and breach alerts. A generator makes new passwords for you, and Bitwarden tells you when a saved password turns up in a known data breach.
- Rules for the whole team. Enterprise policies, like requiring two-step login for everyone, apply across your organization.
We do the setup. Your team runs the vault.
Most of Bitwarden is self-service, and that’s on purpose: nobody waits on us to save a password.
- Create your Bitwarden organization and its users
- Install Bitwarden on your computers
- Walk your owner or office manager through how the vault works, and how to group and share passwords
- Save their own logins as they go
- Share into the collections your owner sets up

How the vault stays private
- Encrypted on your own devices. Your vault is encrypted on your computer or phone before anything leaves the device, with a key that comes from your master password.
- Nobody can recover a lost master password. Not Bitwarden, and not us. That’s the point of the encryption, so pick a passphrase you’ll always remember: a few unrelated words strung together.
- Access ends when someone leaves. Remove a person from your organization and their access to every shared login ends. The event log shows which ones they used.
- No contract, billed yearly. Bitwarden licenses run a year at a time, so you pay for the year up front. Cancel, and your licenses stay active through the year you’ve paid for.
Questions we get about Bitwarden
What does Bitwarden cost?
$4.99 a user per month for Bitwarden’s Enterprise plan, with our setup included. Bitwarden licenses run a year at a time, so we bill the year up front: $59.88 a user. There’s no contract. Cancel, and your licenses stay active through the year you’ve paid for, then don’t renew.
What if our team changes during the year?
Added users are billed on your next invoice for the rest of the license year, then renew with everyone else. Dropping users partway through doesn’t refund the rest of the year.
Do you train every user?
No. We set everything up and walk your owner or office manager through the vault. Day to day, Bitwarden is self-service, and its help center covers the how-to. If something is stuck, call us.
What happens when someone leaves?
Remove them from your organization, or ask us to, and their access to every shared login ends. The event log shows which shared logins they used, so you know which passwords to change.
What if someone forgets their master password?
Nobody can recover a master password, not Bitwarden and not us, so pick one you’ll always remember. A passphrase of a few unrelated words is long, strong, and easy to recall. If someone does forget, the logins your team shares stay safe in your organization: we get that person back into the shared collections, and only what they saved privately is lost.
Can Bitwarden fill in our verification codes?
Yes. Save the code for a login alongside its password, and Bitwarden fills the six-digit code in after the password.
Does Bitwarden work with passkeys?
Yes. Save a passkey to your vault and sign in with the passkey from the browser extension or the Bitwarden app on your phone.
What devices does Bitwarden run on?
Chrome, Edge, and Firefox through the browser extension, Windows and Mac through the desktop app, iPhone and Android through the phone app, and any browser through the web vault.
